The agreement
Terms & conditions
The terms you agree to when you buy from Western Tamp.
Last updated June 2026
These terms apply when you buy from this website, operated by Western Tamp, a trading name of APX Studios Ltd (registered in England & Wales ). By placing an order you agree to them.
You can write to us at 22 Fairfield Walk, Ossett, West Yorkshire, WF5 0ED, or email hello@westerntamp.co.uk. Please note this is our trading address, not a returns address — we don't hold stock, so see returns & refunds before sending anything back.
Products
Our coffee is roasted to order and carries the Western Tamp label. We describe each roast as accurately as we can; natural products vary slightly between batches, and screen colours can differ from the real thing.
Who roasts and sends your order
We don't hold stock. Your coffee is roasted, bagged, labelled and dispatched to you directly by our roasting partner Limini Coffee in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, under the Western Tamp label and to our specification.
This doesn't change who you're dealing with. Your contract is with APX Studios Ltd, we're responsible for your order, and your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are against us — not against our roaster. It does mean returns go to our roaster's address rather than ours; see our returns & refunds page.
To fulfil your order we pass your name and delivery address to our roaster and to our carrier. Our privacy policy sets out exactly who receives what.
Orders & prices
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. Delivery is added at checkout (see our delivery page). We may correct obvious pricing errors; if a price was clearly wrong we’ll contact you before dispatch. A contract is formed when we confirm dispatch of your order.
Payment
Payment is processed securely through Shopify’s hosted checkout. We don’t handle or store your full card details.
Delivery
We ship to mainland UK by Royal Mail tracked or DPD, depending on the service you pick at checkout. Estimated times and costs are on our delivery page. We’re not liable for delays outside our or our carrier’s reasonable control.
Returns & cancellation
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items are put right per our returns & refunds policy. As fresh coffee is perishable and roasted to order, change-of-mind cancellation rights are limited — see that page for detail. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.
Roundup Club subscriptions
The Roundup Club is a rolling subscription with no minimum term and no exit fee. You choose a roast, a grind and a delivery frequency (2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks), and we roast and send that order on that cycle until you tell us to stop.
Price. Club orders are charged at 10% below the one-off price of the same item, at the price shown when each delivery is prepared. If our prices change, the new price applies to deliveries after the change; we’ll email you before a price change takes effect and you can cancel first.
Payment. Each delivery is charged separately through our payment provider when that delivery is prepared, using the payment method you set up. We never see or store your card details.
Changing or cancelling. You can skip a delivery, change the roast, grind or frequency, pause, or cancel entirely at any time and for any reason. Email hello@westerntamp.co.uk with the address on your order and what you’d like to do. We need 2 working days’ notice before a dispatch to stop it; requests after that point apply to the following delivery, and the one already in progress is treated as a normal order under our returns policy.
If we cancel. We may end a subscription — for example if a roast is discontinued or we can’t supply it — by telling you by email. You won’t be charged for anything we haven’t sent.
Liability
We don’t exclude liability for anything that can’t lawfully be excluded (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Otherwise our liability for a product is limited to the price you paid for it.
Complaints
If something has gone wrong, email hello@westerntamp.co.uk with your order number and we'll acknowledge it within two working days and aim to resolve it within fourteen days. If you're not happy with how we've dealt with it, tell us and it will be reviewed by a director. You can also raise consumer issues with Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
